Chip Spin ended up being quite an enjoyable homage to the humble casino chip. Well, maybe not the base game so much, since there isn't a whole lot to it. The Vegas theme is a little superficial too. It looks good, yet more focus on the ragtag bunch of gangsters, dames, and oil baron types might have provided more personality. Such was the case with the quirky dinos in Dinopolis, which incidentally shines through at times in Chip Spin, particularly during free spins when the game goes all pinky purple.

Let's not get stuck analysing the subject matter too much, though, because Chip Spin is fully capable of providing exciting action. Its jazzy ambience pulls you along for a ride that can be bumpy a lot of the time, hugely rewarding at others. Like the original Money Train more so than the sequel, Chip Spin pours everything into its bonus games. Handy then Relax has provided the opportunity to buy both of them. Not only are the main thrills found there, but wins as high as 25,000 times the bet are possible too.
