Four daily tournaments
Blackjack League from Pragmatic Play comprises four tournaments: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Privé. Each caters for a different stake limit, from low (€5-10) to high (€1,000), and runs daily for the duration of the promotion. That means there are 364 tournaments scheduled in total.
Prize pool
Over €1,000,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to Blackjack League players every month for the duration of the promotion. The daily prize pool looks like this:
- Bronze tournament: €3,000
- Silver tournament: €7,000
- Gold tournament: €15,000
- Privé tournament: €10,000
Bronze is handing out 250 prizes every day, while there are 200 up for grabs in Silver, 49 in Gold, and just the one in Privé, which we’ll come to in a moment. The top daily prize for each tournament is €200, €1,000, €5,000 and €10,000 respectively. These prizes are additional to all the regular winnings that can be won in the live blackjack games.
Participating games
Blackjack League is available across a range of top live tables and games in the Pragmatic Play portfolio, including Blackjack, Speed Blackjack, VIP Blackjack, Blackjack X and Privé Lounge Blackjack.
Where to play Blackjack League
The good news is that Blackjack League is available at most Pragmatic Play casino partners in countries worldwide.
How to be in a chance of winning
Winning in Blackjack League looks surprisingly straightforward. Let’s break it down. There are essentially two win mechanics at play in Blackjack League, and both are based on consecutive wins.
To win a prize in Bronze, Silver or Gold, you’ll need to finish in a certain position on the tournament leaderboard. That would be in the top 250 places in Bronze, 200 in Silver and 49 in Gold. To rank on the leaderboard, you’ll need to score points. Points are awarded for consecutive wins from qualifying bets as per the table below.
Consecutive Wins | Points Earned Per Win |
1st win | 10 |
2nd win | 20 |
3rd win | 50 |
4th win | 100 |
5th win | 200 |
6th win | 500 |
7th win | 1,000 |
8th win | 2,000 |
9th win | 5,000 |
10th win | 10,000 |
Only the first 100 qualifying bets count towards the leaderboard in Bronze, Silver and Gold tournaments. So, no matter how late you join one of the daily tournaments, you could still win a prize. But do be aware that in the event of a tie, the player(s) with the earliest recorded score will place higher!
Beat the streak!
Got €1,000 or more to throw at a game of online blackjack? Cool. Can I come swim in your vault? Admittedly, the Privé tournament in Blackjack League is aimed more at the higher rollers among us, but that €10,000 top daily prize will be a sufficient incentive for many. The win mechanic is also quite appealing. Unlike in the other daily tournaments, to win Privé you simply need to score the longest consecutive win streak over the course of the day.
A single player session in Privé Lounge Blackjack can be extended up to 90 minutes. To our knowledge, there are 10 tables currently supporting this product. That could mean as few as 160 players to out-streak (assuming one player per session). Having asked Pragmatic what a winning win streak in Privé looked like, the answer was that in April the highest was 13 consecutive wins, the average was 9 consecutive wins, and the lowest was 7 consecutive wins. So yeah, pretty doable if you have the pockets for it.
And if Privé is too steep for your budget, Silver and Gold have top daily prizes of €1,000 and €5,000 respectively – just a question of how many bets you are willing to place (up to 100) and how many points you can score off them.
