However, Raptor DoubleMax is a different species altogether and has been expertly put together, so each feature blends with the others to create some exceptional moments. That's if everything works as you want it to. Let's not forget this is 'super volatile' after all, so Raptor DoubleMax can feel like a brontosaurus has stood on your foot at times.

To bring some balance, the 243 ways of Multifly have been replaced by a lower number of fixed paylines. Some might lament the change, but it works fine in conjunction with Dropdowns and added wilds – just as it did in the previous game. More importantly, doing so makes way for the doubling multiplier, which is principally what will draw players to Raptor DoubleMax.

Progressive multipliers are nothing new, they're old hat really, yet we're used to seeing them increment by +1, maybe a bit more, not doubling each time. It means Raptor DoubleMax can be sensational in action, and at higher levels, even a three low pay symbol combo is worth a stack of coins. Big multipliers are fortunately paired with decent potential as well, and Raptor DoubleMax can hit wins as high as 20,000x the bet. Although Yggdrasil states the 'highest multipliers in the industry can be achieved', Raptor DoubleMax would have made a stronger statement if the studio had gone as wild and crazy with the max win.

In some ways, Raptor DoubleMax is rather understated. It's not a game that tries to dazzle with some wacky, innovative feature or impress by using reel dynamic trickeries or the like. However, what it does do is pushed to the extreme, and for the lucky ones who catch Raptor DoubleMax on a good day, its multiplier doubles up in a way few other slots, if any, can match.
